Standard designs and special bearings

The conditions for systems and machines in the extraction and processing of raw materials vary from application to application. The concept, design and construction depend mainly on load, speed, service life and environmental conditions.

For many applications, designers can use rolling bearings of standard types and designs. However, some applications require special rolling bearings, for which we have defined special industry requirements. One of these bearings — for tunnel boring machines — can have an outside diameter of more than 4 meters.
